This Introductory clinic will be done without horses. We’ve found this is the best way to teach riders about the 4 phases of Working Equitation: 1)Dressage, 2)Ease of Handling (obstacles), 3) Speed (obstacles) and 4) Cattle.  The clinic will focus on the rules and requirements of each phase. We will have a course set and walk each obstacle to discuss requirements for each. Once we’ve reviewed all the obstacles and rules, we’ll put it to the test with an actual course walk to discuss strategies.

Registration will open once dates are set.  New USAWE rules for 2024 are available on their website.

Practice Sessions

We’ve constructed an over-the-top, regulation obstacle course for the Working Equitation Shows, Practice Sessions & Mini clinics. The obstacles are key to practicing the Ease Of Handling and Speed Trials within Working Equitation. Our entire course or several obstacles will be set during each practice session. We will provide different setups with varied obstacles at each session. Come to one or come to all of the practice sessions. You can come to just have some fun with the obstacles or come with the intention of going on to compete and test your skills at schooling shows, licensed shows, Regional or National levels.  The sky is the limit. We assure you our practice sessions and course will prepare you for anything you want to do in Working Equitation. Come join the fun.  Look forward to seeing you.
